Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement 2025/26

Modern slavery is a serious global crime that affects millions of people across all backgrounds. Braemar is committed to conducting business with integrity and ensuring that slavery and human trafficking play no part in our operations or supply chains.

This statement is made on behalf of Braemar Plc and its subsidiaries pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, for the financial year ended 28 February 2025.

About Braemar

Braemar is a leading international provider of shipbroking, chartering, investment, research, and risk management services. With a global office network, we deliver expertise and trusted solutions to clients across the shipping and energy sectors.

Our Supply Chains & Risk

Our services are primarily people-based and supported by functions such as IT, HR, Legal and Compliance. The risk of slavery and human trafficking in our direct supply chains is low, but we remain vigilant. In the past year, we identified no instances of slavery or human trafficking.

Due Diligence Processes & Controls

  • Ethical business conduct and integrity embedded in our policies.
  • Due diligence on new and prospective suppliers to mitigate risk.
  • Whistleblowing arrangements enabling staff to raise concerns confidentially.
  • Robust governance framework and regular review of policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness.

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

We will continue to monitor and review all our relevant policies and procedures to ensure slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chains.
